SlideReel
Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2025
This Privacy Policy is provided by Stanislav Morozov (“we”, “us”, or “our”), independent developer of SlideReel.
We believe privacy is a right, not a feature — SlideReel is designed to collect as little data as possible. Your projects and media stay on your device.
Information We Do Not Collect
SlideReel is a fully offline, on-device application. We do not collect, store, or transmit:
- Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers.
- Your photos, videos, or any media from your library.
- The content of your projects or exported videos.
- Your location data.
- Your contacts or any other device data.
All video processing, editing, and export happens entirely on your device. Your content never leaves your iPhone.
Information We May Collect
Crash Reports and Diagnostics
If you have enabled Share iPhone Analytics in your iOS settings, Apple may share anonymized crash reports and performance diagnostics with us. This data does not include any personal information or your project content. It is used solely to identify and fix technical issues.
Purchase Information
If you purchase SlideReel Pro, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details, credit card information, or billing address. We receive only a confirmation from Apple that a purchase was completed.
App Store Analytics
Apple provides us with aggregated, anonymized analytics about App Store page views, downloads, and general usage patterns. This data cannot be used to identify individual users.
Third-Party Services
We do not integrate third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or social media SDKs. We do not use services such as Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Facebook SDK, Sentry, or similar tools.
The only third-party platform involved in your use of SlideReel is Apple, through the App Store and StoreKit for in-app purchases. Apple’s privacy practices are governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Permissions We Request
Photo Library
SlideReel requests access to your photo library so you can import images and video clips into your projects. We access only the media you explicitly select. We do not scan, index, or upload your library.
Microphone (future feature)
A future version of SlideReel may request microphone access for voiceover recording. This permission will only be requested when the feature is available and will be clearly explained at the time.
Data Retention
Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on our end. Your projects and exported videos are stored locally on your device and are managed entirely by you through your iPhone’s Files app or Photos library.
Children’s Privacy
SlideReel is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the email below and we will take appropriate action.
Your Rights
Because we do not collect personal data tied to your identity, there is no personal data profile for us to access, export, or delete on your behalf. You retain full ownership and control of all content you create in SlideReel.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify users through an in-app notice or App Store update notes. Continued use of SlideReel after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
