Elova
Privacy Policy

Health data on-device · No account required
Overview
This Privacy Policy is provided by Stanislav Morozov (“we”, “us”, or “our”), independent developer of Elova.
Elova is a period and cycle tracking app designed with privacy as its foundation. Your health entries stay on your device. The only data sent to us is an optional, anonymized Premium interest signal — and only if you tap “I’m interested” on a future Premium feature.
What Data We Collect
Elova does not collect personal data such as your name, email address, or account profile.
All health information you enter — including period dates, symptoms, mood, intimacy details, and notes — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple’s Core Data framework. This data never leaves your device.
Premium Feature Interest (Optional)
Before launching paid features, Elova lets you tap “I’m interested” on upcoming Premium options. If you choose to do so, the app sends a single anonymized event to our server. This is the only data Elova transmits off your device.
Each event may include:
- The feature name you tapped (e.g. export_pdf, data_transfer_csv, home_screen_widget)
- Whether you expressed interest (yes)
- Your device language setting (locale, e.g. en, ru, de)
- The app version installed (e.g. 1.4)
- A country code inferred from your network connection (e.g. US, DE)
- A timestamp when the event was recorded
We do not collect your name, email address, account information, health data, device identifiers (such as IDFA or UUID), or IP addresses. Events are not linked to you as an individual and are used only to understand which Premium features are most wanted before we build them.
Where Your Health Data Is Stored
Your health entries exist solely on the iPhone or iPad where you installed the app. We do not operate cloud backup, sync, or remote storage for your health data.
When you delete the app, all locally stored health data is deleted with it. We have no copy of your health information.
Third-Party Services
We do not integrate third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or social media SDKs. We do not use services such as Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Facebook SDK, Sentry, or similar tools.
Apple Services
If you have enabled Share iPhone Analytics in your iOS settings, Apple may share anonymized crash reports and performance diagnostics with us. This data does not include your health information, app content, or anything that identifies you.
Apple may also provide aggregated, anonymized App Store analytics (such as downloads and page views) that cannot be used to identify individual users.
Biometric Authentication
Elova offers optional Face ID and Touch ID locking. This feature uses Apple’s built-in LocalAuthentication framework. Your biometric data is processed entirely by iOS and is never accessed or stored by Elova.
Notifications
If you enable reminders (such as period start notifications or contraceptive reminders), these are scheduled locally on your device using iOS’s notification system. No data is sent to external servers to enable these notifications.
Health Information Disclaimer
Elova is intended for personal health tracking purposes only.
The app does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Elova should not be used as a substitute for professional medical consultation. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns.
Children’s Privacy
Elova is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Premium interest events contain no personal identifiers and are not linked to individual users.
Changes to This Policy
If we make any changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and post the revised policy here. Material changes will be described in the updated text.
